You can make this one at home for under $3—which means you can get four servings for the price of a single restaurant juice. It’s fresh, nutrient-rich, supports digestion, helps calm inflammation, and boosts hydration! Bonus: you don’t need a fancy juicer, just a standard blender.  Easy, affordable, and absolutely worth a try.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cold water (or coconut water for slightly more carbs)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ medium cucumber, chopped
  • ½ green apple, cored 
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½-inch piece fresh ginger (or ⅛ tsp ground ginger)
  • ½ cup ice

 

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and juice-like. Taste and adjust lemon or ginger if desired. Serve immediately.  

Optional: strain through a fine mesh sieve if you want a true juice texture—but it’s delicious and healthier unstrained.

Bonus flavor boosters: Add fresh mint leaves for spa vibes. Add ½ tsp (raw, local) honey or monk fruit if you like it sweeter. Add a pinch of sea salt to enhance flavor naturally.
