Who doesn’t love making a child smile? That’s exactly what Win Win Charity does! This incredible 501c3 nonprofit brings entertainers, athletes, and celebrities to visit kids in hospitals – both in-person and virtually.
In January 2026 I began my term as President for this impactful organization, after almost five years of serving on the Board and Executive Committee. It is an honor to step into this role. Every day, we’re spreading joy and laughter to those who need it most. It’s like being a happiness ninja!
I started Team Brain Health as a way for my son and I to get involved with my husband’s line of work as Chair of the Department of Brain Health at UNLV, as much of this time is spent on Alzheimer’s projects. I wanted my son to learn the value of philanthropy and the joy of giving back to a cause bigger than ourselves. And with the main event being a fitness-based (an annual walk), it naturally ties into what I do professionally as well as my personal passion.
In creating this team seven years ago, we found a community of friends who are looking for support, alliance and answers on their own journey with the disease, either personally or through family and friends.
In 2025 my son was named the first Youth Ambassador in the Desert Southwest region and partners closely with the Alzheimer’s Association to bring awareness and education to a younger generation via school programming and clubs to encourage discussion, support and early detection of the disease.
