Have You Ever Wondered What Separates Top Achievers from Everyone Else? It's not talent or luck. It's a deep understanding of motivation. Picture this: You wake up in the morning, ready to conquer your day, feeling an unshakable drive to pursue your dreams. But what if I told you that maintaining that level of motivation is not a matter of chance? It's a skill that anyone can master.  Over the next few minutes, I'm going to give you the 6 secret tips for motivation that top achievers know and use, PLUS I'll tell you how you can apply them to transform your life.

1. Surround Yourself With People Who Will Lift You Higher. When I lack motivation I like to think about, read about, and go to social media and engage with people I look up to and admire. I will often find messages of inspiration, motivation and even struggle there and it helps me to realize I am not alone, and it also encourages me because if they can overcome something, then I can too.

2. Accept Responsibility For Your Life. It's YOU who will get you to where you want to go by working on personal development daily. Sometimes it is reading, sometimes it is via a podcast, sometimes it is live training events. Keeping an influx of new ideas and positive energy in my life helps me to stay engaged and creative, which in turn keeps me motivated because I have messaging coming in via various channels and there is always something new for me to work on.

Tips for Motivation= Accept responsibility for your life.

3. Learn To Rest, Not To Quit. Sometimes when I lack motivation I just walk away. Lacking motivation might mean I need to clear my head by getting fresh air, getting my blood pumping or getting a new perspective. Sometimes a change in setting will help, like working from a local coffee shop, or sometimes I need to connect with others to reignite my motivational spark.

4. Improvement Is My Motivation. Another way I motivate myself is to look at analytics. Data doesn’t lie so it motivates me when I look at my progress year to date, month over same month versus last year, Google analytics and reviewing any other tools I have in place for measuring progress. Data tells me what I am doing well and also where there is room for improvement, and that typically motivates me to action.

5. It Is Easier To Act Your Way Into A Feeling Than Feel Your Way Into An Action. Speaking of action, many times I have to act my way into feeling (as opposed to letting my feelings dictate my actions). When I just start working on whatever I need to get done, I usually am able to get into the headspace of motivation and accomplishment. Sometimes just having the motivation to get started is the hardest part.

6. Motivation Gets You Going, But Discipline Keeps You Growing. Lastly, by creating good habits and consistently relying on them, I am able to leverage discipline so that when my motivation isn’t there, my discipline kicks in to get the work done.

Tips for Motivation= Motivation gets you going, but disciplinee keeps you growing.
